Nimbus 101
+ How to install batteries:
Turn and release the chrome top to reveal the battery compart-ment. Install two AAA batteries according to the polarity markings shown by the openings. Press the top back down with enough force to press down the batteries. Turn clockwise until the three tabs seat in slots, then continue to turn a small amount to click shut. Turn the Nimbus over so you can see the bottom. The light should turn on indicating the batteries are working.
+ Filling Vials:
RINSE VIALS BEFORE USE.
Nimbus works with flavors and tinctures that are diluted in filtered water. Fill the vial with water and drop in the amount of specified, or mix in a separate container and then pour in to the vial.
You can use extracts and oils or spirits. Follow the guidelines below.

Rotate Nimbus on to the vial just like a screw top.
Do not over-tighten!
+ What should I fill it with:
Filled with your favorite natural flavors, like pure extracts of vanilla, chocolate or raspberry, Nimbus enhances the flavor of any drink with a cloud garnish. Filled with your favorite aromatic spirit, like a Scotch, Cognac or Tequila, Nimbus delivers a surprisingly satisfying experience. Set up a number of Nimbus devices in a row and have a tasting! Filled with essential oils, like lavender or mint, Nimbus produces clouds that can calm you down or pick you up. Follow the guidelines below
+ Making a cloud:
Tip Nimbus and observe the flavored cloud. This is created by a metal mesh at the top.
You may notice a green light at the bottom indicating operation. Nimbus will run for 10 seconds before it stops automatically.
This is a power saving feature. Tilt again to restart.
+ How to store:
Nimbus and vial can be stored in the refrigerator for freshness. Follow the recommendation of the ingredients that you are using. Alternatively, you can detach the vial and seal with the provided cap. For long term storage of Nimbus, it is recommended that batteries be removed. It is also a good idea to remove batteries during transport.
+ How to clean and maintain:
Clean the outside of Nimbus with a damp cloth. DO NOT SPLASH OR SUBMERGE IN FLUID.
The glass vial can be cleaned with soap and water and is dishwasher safe.
For best results, clean the metal mesh on top and bottom side with a cotton swab and alcohol after heavy use.
+ General Guidelines:
Use filtered non-sparkling water. Fill the vial with the desired amount, add your flavor or spirit, then shake. The following portions are recommended: Spirits - 30% - 50% of the solution Oils - only a few drops Sugar - must be used sparingly In general, a more concentrated solution will have a smaller cloud. You may see little or no mist with your first try. Pour out some solution, add more filtered water, and try again.
+ What to avoid!
Carbonated beverages and beer — they don’t work! The carbonation ruins the vibrating mesh effect. Acidic ingredients or “hot” spices - they can be irritating in your nose. Be careful with things like lemon, lime and jalapeño. Emulsions (like milk) or liquids with excess solid suspensions - the suspensions will clog the mesh. Wine - a combination of acid extraction and oxidation ruins the flavor. (But spirits and cocktails are great with Nimbus!)
+ Troubleshooting:
There is no cloud
- Tilt Nimbus and check that there is a green light underneath. If there is no light, check to make sure that the top is securely fastened.
- Replace batteries if top is secure and there is no light. Make sure battery polarity is correct.
- If there is a green light with fresh batteries, your mesh may be clogged. Unscrew the vial and clean mesh from inside and top with cotton swab and alcohol.
The cloud is weak
- Your batteries could be low, or they may have a bad connec-tion. Try replacing batteries.
- Your solution may have too much oil or sugar. Dilute the fluid.
- Your mesh may be clogged. Unscrew the vial and clean mesh from inside and top with cotton swab and alcohol.
+ Returns:
We want you to be delighted with your Nimbus. WIthin 90 days we will replace your product if it isn’t working or if it isn’t working for you. Contact us if you need to return: info@sensory-cloud.com
+ Warrenty:
Sensory Cloud warrants its products to the original purchaser against any defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of shipment.
Contact Sensory Cloud or your distributor to initiate warranty support. Products may not be returned without a return authorization from Sensory Cloud.
Limitations
This warranty does not cover :
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident or improper application or storage
Damage caused by any repair or attempted repair not authorized by Sensory Cloud
This warranty contains the sole express warranty made by Sensory Cloud in connection with its products. All implied warranties, including without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly disclaimed.
Some states within the United States do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties and if this is true in your state the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
This warranty constitutes the final, complete, and exclusive statement of warranty terms and no person is authorized to make any other warranties or representations on behalf of Sensory Cloud.
Limitation of Remedies
The remedies of repair, replacement or refund of purchase price as stated above are the exclusive remedies for the breach of this warranty. On the basis of strict liability or under any other legal theory, in no event shall Sensory Cloud be liable for any incidental or consequential damages of any kind for breach of warranty or negligence.
